Refund and Cancellation Policy
How to cancel an RKCadTools subscription, request a refund, or use applicable withdrawal rights.
At a glance
- Cancel at any time before renewal.
- Access normally continues through the paid period.
- Paddle handles payments and refund requests.
- Mandatory consumer rights still apply.
1. Merchant of record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment and refund decisions are handled under Paddle’s Buyer Terms and Refund Policy, together with any mandatory rights that apply to you.
2. Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel an annual subscription at any time through the Paddle customer portal linked from My Account or from Paddle’s transaction emails. Cancellation stops the next automatic renewal and normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. You may continue using the paid seats until then, unless access is suspended for a material breach or unpaid amount.
If you cannot access the portal, contact Paddle support or email contact@rkcadtools.com. Include the email address used for the purchase and your Paddle transaction or subscription reference. Do not send card details.
3. Refund requests
Submit refund requests through Paddle’s buyer support channel shown on your receipt or subscription portal. You may also contact us so we can help identify the transaction. Explain the reason for the request and provide the purchase email and transaction reference.
Ending use or cancelling does not by itself create a right to a prorated refund for the unused part of an annual period. Paddle may grant a refund under its policy, and a refund will be provided where required by applicable law. If the product has a material fault, contact us promptly so we can investigate and, where appropriate, repair, replace, or support a refund request.
4. Consumer withdrawal rights
If you buy as a consumer in the EU, EEA, or United Kingdom, you may have a statutory 14-day withdrawal right. For digital content or services, that right can be affected once access, download, or performance begins after the legally required consent and acknowledgement. Paddle presents the applicable terms and choices at checkout. Exercise any withdrawal right through Paddle; this policy does not limit mandatory consumer rights.
5. Free trial
The 14-day trial does not require payment details and does not renew into a paid subscription automatically. No cancellation is needed to avoid a charge. Trial access simply ends unless you separately complete a purchase.
6. Duplicate or incorrect charges
For a duplicate, incorrect, or unrecognised charge, contact Paddle promptly using the details on the receipt and notify us at contact@rkcadtools.com. We will assist with records relating to the RKCadTools account while Paddle handles the payment.
7. Effect of a refund
When Paddle confirms a full refund, the related subscription and software entitlement may end immediately. A partial refund or billing adjustment will have the effect stated by Paddle. You remain responsible for removing or ceasing use of software for which no active licence remains.
